  Introduction

Music has always been a big part of my life ever since I picked up the piano when I was around 6. I had my first experience at pop and synthesizer music when I was around 14 during my first year in England when my two elder brothers formed a band to play in the school, and needed a keyboardist (my eldest brother sang and played the lead guitars, and my second brother played the bass or drums).

After my brothers left, I continued to play and perform in music competitions in school, and then in University I finally got my own synthesizer which I still use today (Yamaha SY77), which was what gave me my first experience in sequencing and midi recording, and which then led eventually to sound recording with multitrack recorders.

Apart from the answering machine messages that you've probably already come across, I've decided to put up some other stuff, mainly for fellow friends who were part of the performances, but also for anyone who might be interested. This part can be classified under 3 sections:

My current equipment:

Yamaha SY77 mother keyboard (aka "My first wife"), Korg 05R/W Sound module, Roland JV-2080 synth module (with Bass/Drums, Session and Hip Hop expansion cards), Soundscape SSHDR 12-track Digital Audio Workstation (v.3.1) (Plugins: TC Reverb, TC Dynamizer, Synchro-Arts Voc-Align, Dynamics/Compressor, Chorus/Flanger), Mackie CR1604-VLZ 16 channel mixer, Mackie HR824 studio monitor speakers, Music Quest Opcode 8Port/SE 128 channel midi interface (retired), Roland UM-4 4x4 USB midi interface, Yamaha MT8X 8-Track cassette recorder (retired), Audio Technica AT4050/CM5 studio condensor microphone, AKG C1000S condensor microphone (retired), Audio Technica ATH-M40 studio headphones, Alesis Microverb III Reverb unit (retired), Sony D7 DAT recorder, Aiwa IC-M60 IC Recorder, Cakewalk Professional v8 sequencer, Cool Edit Pro Wave Editor.
